If you use coupons then most likely you will have expired coupons along with current coupons you will not use. Instead of tossing them in the trash can there are a few ways you can make a difference with your expired and current coupons. I know it sounds crazy to think your expired and current coupons can help other people. Here is how that can happen.

A simple way to help the military families serving our country that are currently stationed overseas is to donate your current and expired coupons to them to utilize on the base to help reduce their grocery bills. This information is general in nature and for specific details please contact the organizations listed below or your military base for more details. A majority of military bases will allow military families to use coupons that are up to 6 months expired. Coupons can be newspaper coupons, manufacturer coupons, internet printable that are listed as manufacturer and catalina manufacturer. They do not accept store coupons or store only coupons.

Not All Heroes has a program called Coupons for Heroes. Coupons for Heroes collects expired coupons along with current coupons for the Does Drove No. 91 which is connected to the Farmington Elks Lodge #1747. The Does have adopted a military base in Japan. This group of incredible women sent over 200,000 coupons to the military families serving in Japan. Coupons for Heroes has a goal of sending 300,000 coupons in the year 2015. Your expired and current coupons can be sent to Coupons for Heroes at 20694 N. 94 Drive, Peoria, AZ 85382.

Coupons for Heroes and Does Drove No. 91 is operating with volunteers who are donating their time to ship these coupons to the troops. In addition to donating coupons there is also a need to assist in the cost of shipping. Please contact us if you are interested in sponsoring the shipment of one or ten boxes. If you are not in the financial position to donate cash then donating your coupons is a great way to make a difference. If you have specific questions about how to sort or where to mail coupons or what they need help with please contact Coupons for Heroes at info@notallheroes.org. Don’t forget to get your family and friends involved, this is a great way to give back!
